18 Bridges Beautified in Menteng and Cempaka Putih

Total 18 bridges in Menteng and Cempaka Putih Sub-districts, Central Jakarta, were painted with various color combinations.

It is not only making the area more beautiful, but also it is for road users' safety

Menteng Sub-district Bina Marga Unit Head, Bogi Widiatmaji stated, his side beautified 13 bridges by painting it in combination of yellow, gray, and black colors. According to him, this color combination is in accordance with the standards of Transportation Ministry.  

"It is not only making the area more beautiful, but also it is for road users' safety," he mentioned, Friday (3/19).

For painting work, his side deployed 6-8 yellow troops personnel to paint each bridges by implementing health protocols.

"Painting work on 13 bridges are targeted to be completed in early April," he added.

Meanwhile, Cempaka Putih Sub-district Bina Marga Unit Head, Reza said, his side is currently painting 5 bridges in the region.

"We also paint the bridge's steel structure and railings to prevent rust or porous," he closed.
